It's been my understanding all along that with opnqryf, under certain
circumstances, it will start the rpg program before all records are
selected - I don't know what causes it, but I usually notice it when
there are a large numbers of records and/or select/omit criteria.

don't know why, but I've know it looks like that is what's happening.
