Mark,
Being from the S36 world it was my assumption that If I had a CL program and 
step
1 was an OPNQRYF and the next step was a RPG program that produced a printout
based on the previous OPNQRYF.  I thought that the OPNQRYF would run to full
completion before it would load my PRG program and start building the spool file
for the printout.  But it appeared to still be performing the OPNQRYF and at the
same time building the RPG programs spool file.  I will post the CL.
