Hi All: The OPNQRYF is "active" until to close the file at the same of higher invocation level that you opened it. This is usually done with a CLOF statement in the same CL program that did the OPNQRYF. HTH, Brian Lawson HJM Systems, Inc. Is it possible that this OPNQRYF is still working and my RPG program is loaded while the OPNQRYF is still working? This appears to be happening to my job, but I thought the OPNQRYF would run to completion first, then load the RPG program that comes after? -- : Tim & Dana Truax : +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
