V3R2 Distribution tapes for E04 and E10

Hello out there,

I have a little question regarding OS/400 distribution tapes. I discussed
this with a colleague and we have different opinions.

Are there any differences in the tapes between AS/400 9402 model E04 and
AS/400 9404 E10? My colleague said that trying to install OS/400 at the E04
with the distribution tapes of OS/400 for the E10 will result in an error
telling the user that 'These are not OS/400 install tapes'?

Since we have no way to try this out, but knowing that there is no
difference in 9404 E10 and 9406 E60 or 310 tapes, we bet on this. Now I
would like to win this bet, as I said using the E10 tapes for installing at
the E04 is possible.
