Plus, on the AS/400, you can define multiple interfaces (multiple IP addresses) per line description - in other words, it supports multihoming on the same line. It also supports multihoming across 2 or more lines where each line has an interface. And, it supports multihoming combinations thereof (such as one line with 2 interfaces and one line with one interface). This was true starting in V3R1.
