Kirk is asking "about observability in programs going to RISC" You need observability inorder for a CISC program to be executed on a RISC system. The translator needs CISC observability to translate, period. I don't care what the 3rd party says. The only way a non-observable program can execute on the RISC system is if the program was previously been (A) compiled on RISC then had observability removed or (B) has been translated from the CISC version then had observability removed.
