Would it be easy for the PC job to poll and see if a special file is
present?  And if not, try again in a 1/2 hour?  Then, have the AS/400 send
that Special file as its last job step.  And, as the last step in the PC
job, the special file could be deleted, preparing the way for the next
cycle.  Nothing needs to be in the special file  -  it's only purpose is
to exist, or not exist.
