Trigger PC Job

Hi All,

     We have an application on AS/400 that sends some data files to PC via
FTP. On PC side, we have a job that process these  files coming from
AS/400. At present the PC job starts around 6:30 PM. By that time the
AS/400 application shoudl send the files. Is there anyway we can integrate
the whole process in a way such that the PC job starts only after the files
are sent from AS/400. I am interested in some way on AS/400 to trigger the
PC job. I will be sending the files to PC and in the same AS job, I'll
trigger the PC job. Is this possible? Are there any better solutions? Thanx
