You must have something else involved here, as obviously if V3R1 took
556MB more than V2R3 there's no way I could have installed it on a 945MB
model B10 that was already at 70% utilization on V2R3!
Did you install additional program products ?  Maybe additional CA/400
clients ?
Are you including other 'user' data (maybe QHST* log files in QSYS,
performance data in QMPGDATA) etc. ?
