You didn't mention what version you were running on the E10 now.  You might
try a RCLSTG and RGZDLO after removing S/38, S/36, and previous release
support if you are not working at a software provider site.  This should give
you a true picture of your available DASD.  Remember that utilization over
80% results in performance degradation.  You may also want to run the disk
data collection utility (after hours) and review the reports, deleting
anything no longer needed, prior to running the RCL/RGZ commands.

As always, "it depends".  If you are running V3R1 and on the current CUM
tape, you may actually see no DASD difference as the plethora of 3.1 PTF's
are removed.  If you are on an earlier release, you will probably see a DASD
increase.  Use the sizing information in the "New Release Planning Guide" to
be sure.  As you are on an E10, and near the end of your lease, I'd also look
into the forthcoming August hardware announcements SERIOUSLY.  You can
probably afford to more than double your capacity without increasing (and in
some cases DECREASING) your lease payment...
