Nope - can't do that.  Sorry, I must have misread the post.
If the client's line they want to keep on has a specific EXCHID then you
would need to change the controller on your machine to match it.  If
that creates a conflict with the EXCHID on the controller for another
client, and you can't change the EXCHID on THAT client's line
description, then you're SOL.
