I just think it's the right thing to do both because the list rules specify
so, and because it lets the questioner know that there are additional
motivations embedded in the answer.  This is true for any vendor who
proposes their product as a solution regardless of how well it fits.  This
rule is one of the little things that keeps this list the usefull forum that
it is, unlike the newsgroups that are full of commercial messages, both
overt and covert.
