Oops, I forgot to add that there is also a device attached to each controller that you will need to set to ONLINE(*YES). The name format is TRNLITCP* for Token Ring and ETHLITCP* for Ethernet. I apologize for the incomplete response... Jeff Hi Mark, We were having this problem at our site, except with our Token Ring interface. I found that each line has a controller attached to it of type *NET (ours are TRNLINET for Token Ring, and ETHLINET for Ethernet). These controllers must be set to ONLINE(*YES) in order for the interface to come up automatically.
