Greg Thielen of Innovative Systems Design straigtened me out out this (GAD, has it been THAT long?) over a year and a half ago. The problem with special character printing on the /400 is that there are so many ways to do it. I think that you need to set your configuration to "Host Print Transform" *YES. You may also need a TRNSPY CVTDTA command in the record format printing the characters, if you're trying to send ASCII characters. HTH, Dean Asmussen Enterprise Systems Consulting, Inc.
