I have tested multiple TCP/IP stacks and the issue is: what stack are you
using?
WinAPPC and "all" telnet products including TN5250 clients are written to a
standard and that is most commonly the MS Winsock compatible TCP/IP stack
standard. I have seen stacks that vary from the "standard" including the
Novell and Spry stacks. The MS stacks are fine (both W4W and W95) as is the
Trumpet stack.

With WinAPPC you can edit the WT400TCP/INI file and turn on the debug option
so that you can see where the fault lies.

If running under Win95 be sure that you have the service pack applied as
there is a known problem with the original Win95 TCP/IP stack. There is
some kind of a "memory leakage problem with the TCP/IP stack so that can
cause lockups, etc.

It is best to contact Synapse tech support. Tech support is free. Updates
are free. No strings attached. I consider this a benefit if you have problems.

Hope this helps.

Jerry
