I just upgraded last weekend to a 9402-400 running V3R7.  Monday
afternoon the system operators received a message that a "Critical
hardware failure had occurred".  When I analyzed the problem it
reported a LIC failure.  I called hardware support, they confirmed
that it was a LIC problem, not a hardware problem and they had
a PTF for it.  GET THIS, the PTF fixes the problem of a LIC failure
being reported as a hardware failure. The PTF isn't intended to fix
the LIC problem. There doesn't seem to be a PTF for that! I was told
not to worry about it unless it came back.
