We have a similar situation with our dial-in lines using a Perle 394e controller with ASCII cards. Ya have to prime the modems. I've -also- found that, on occasion, I need to re-prime the modems. Random glitches seem to make our modems 'forget' their settings. Re-priming them gets things running properly again. Fortunately, this only happens once or twice a year. --paul E Musselman PaulMmn@ix.netcom.com * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the Midrange System Mailing List!
