I personally wouldn't post personal information on a resume unless it was 
directly related to the job I was applying for.  So, if I was doing volunteer 
work for xyz charity as a computer consultant, I would list that.  If I was 
doing volunteer work as a cook, I wouldn't mention it.
   
  Personal information will be able to be brought out in the interview if you 
feel the need (and some like race and possibly age, will be evident)
