OK. That indicates that QWCBT01 and QWCBT02 are full. Do both these
tables show the size values at the "new" location? Do they both
appear to contain hex zeroes in debug? What does DMPSYSOBJ show for
these tables (hex zeroes or proper data)?

Do the other tables have the "normal" header information (i.e.,
QWCBT00 pointer, last available entry, length, and table number)?

As you can tell, I'm intrigued by this state of affairs.

Simon,

I dumped both the tables (as well as #3 and #17) and they showed the
size value at the "new" location (offset x'1014').

I haven't checked the other header fields as they are not referenced
in my program plus I do not know the correct offsets. All of the info
in the QWCBT00 master table is fine though as far as I can tell.

Everything on the systems seems to be the same. Very strange. Oh
well. I rewrote the program to access the QWCBT_JOB_INDEX instead
which avoids the issue and speeds things up searching as a welcome
bonus.

Yes, that's the better approach--at least until VRM610.

Thanks for your help!

Can you show us what DSPJOBTBL displays on the failing system?

Here's the display:
