My guess is they were removed at the order of the same IBM executive who concocted the "no more system state" policy. The campaign to redact internals info that started during the S/38 days now seems to be shifting into hyper-drive.

Reminds me of the Beatles movie "Yellow Submarine" -- the cartoon "sucker" monster with the trombone nose who sucks up every thing in sight, then notices his own tail and sucks himself up into nothingness.

S38/AS400/iSeries/i5 seems destined for the same fate.
