thanks for your knowledge, but Im not sure about the response time of 
interactive job like transaction. Transaction should be able measure also 
batch jobs. I thing it should measure CPU, IO and CMN in one. And what to 
know is, how looks like taransaction in MI.

My understanding has always been that a the term "transaction" in
connection with measuring performance is used for interactive jobs and
defines the resources used
  - from the time when the user hits "Enter"
  - until the result is displayed on the work station.

I don't know how can I imagine a transaction in OS/400 or SLIC. Is it
