The SQL to create a table with a CLOB is: CREATE TABLE LOBTABLE (FIELD1 CHAR(10) NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT, FIELD2 CLOB NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT) You can run this with either STRSQL or OpsNav. You have to be V4R4 or higher to use LOBs. > -----Original Message----- > From: Gene_Gaunt@ReviewWorks.com [SMTP:Gene_Gaunt@ReviewWorks.com] > Sent: Tuesday, November 19, 2002 7:47 AM > To: mi400@midrange.com > Subject: Re: [MI400] Open a file that contains a LOB field > > > Can you post a little CREATE example with LOB that I can play with? > > _______________________________________________ > This is the MI Programming on the AS400 / iSeries (MI400) mailing list > To post a message email: MI400@midrange.com > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/mi400 > or email: MI400-request@midrange.com > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/mi400.
