They could?  I don't think I ever tried that.  I would have expected all the SVC
(supervisor calls) would have made that impratical.

I also remember the 34 to 36 migration aid recompiled all load modules.  Or at
least I think so.  I haven't done a 34 to 36 migration since about 1984...
