Thanks, Buck! After a few minutes of panicking, we realized that we could restart the job to reset the printer file number. I don't know of an MI solution, but V5R1 has a QMAXSPLF system value that may help. Also, periodically end and re-start the pretty-print job. The spooled file numbers are assigned by job, so starting a new job will start the numbers back at one. If this isn't helpful, try the MIDRANGE-L list. There are more 'general knowledge' people over there and a wider audience may get you better quality answers. --buck _______________________________________________ This is the MI Programming on the AS400 / iSeries (MI400) mailing list To post a message email: MI400@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/mi400 or email: MI400-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mi400.
