The short answer to your question "are there possibilities" seems to be YES, and I wouldn't think you need MI to do it. I am not quite sure what you want, but if you want to submit a program which must run interactive since it requires workstation input, but is doing so heavy things that it really ought to be batch, then I know it can be done, although I don't know the details how to do it. The interactive program running in batch allocates a work station, but of course no data appears on the work station. Data required by the program to be entered from the work station can be taken e.g. from a file. My own guess (I havn't verified this) is that there might be APIs that can do the trick of intercepting the data sent to the work station and simulate data being entered. If you check a product called Robot/Replay on www.helpsystems.com you will see that this tool allows batch scheduling and run of interactive programs.
