Of course, the whole debate over GOTOs and computed GOTOs (and that venerable FORTRAN construct, the numeric IF) is kind of ludicrous, considering as how in MI, we HAVE to implement all IF/THEN/ELSE and CASE constructs by hand-coding them in terms of constructs no more inherently structured than those present in ANSI-66 FORTRAN IV. Are we straining at gnats while swallowing ENIAC, and going after mote in one eye while ignoring a beam in the other, or what? -- JHHL
