Hi, folks:

I was just going to say, this reminds me of the old "structured
programming" debates that used to rage in the '70s... one of the
best, funny, tongue-in-cheek articles that was submitted to and
published in Datamation in 1973, described the ultimate "solution"
to all of the then-raging debates, the "COME FROM" statement,
whereby you could code a program (in a Fortran style) like:

10
    ...
    IF (A < B) COME FROM 10
    ...

and other interesting variations.

For more info, visit:
http://www.fortran.com/fortran/come_from.html

It is all very entertaining. Go to www.google.com and search
for the phrase "COME FROM statement"... you will be amazed
at how many "hits" you get... :-)

Now, can we take this topic "off-list", please?

Thanks,

Mark S. Waterbury
