list bind directory entries - mi solution?

Hi all, I am working on a freeware utility that will run down the bind 
directory entries - service pgms - modules - with the goal getting a list of 
the procedures.

I can find no system API to list bind directory entries. (maybe I overlooked 
something?).     I can do a dspbnddir to *outfile and process that way, but 
beside being cumbersome,  it just feels so 'primitive'.

It was suggested that perhaps there an MI way to get a list of bnddir entries?  
If so,  does any one have a real easy example (not asking for much , I know)  
of it they would share. Preferably with a RPG wrapper.
