C++'s Vector Class in RPG :) -----Original Message----- From: Njål Fisketjøn [mailto:n.f@figu.no] > Well, isn't that what he is doing? Writing service programs to provide > higher level routines? Jim, He is writing service programs, and they are higher level routines, but not as "high" as I would have done. They're still memory management routines, which I would define as "low level". What I was thinking of was more like a service program giving you functions like ArrayNew (implicit allocate) ArrayAdd (implicit allocate if necessary) ArrayRemove ArrayFree (deallocate) ArrayPosFirst ArrayPosNext ArrayPosPrev ArrayPosLast ArrayGet ArraySize and so on.
