Harry, There is a free TIFFLIB available written in C that can be easily ported to the AS/400. Go to your search engine of choice and search for TIFFLIB and Sam Leffler (the author). Not sure why you say "Only MI can get the tiff images easily". The TIFF format supports several different compression algorithms and both big and small endian. Re coding these all in MI just cant be easy. I am about 90% finished, but some of the routines must be easier than the ones I have created. I have to read the tiff and break it apart, then format the output in the PCL language.
