IIRC, IBM gave about 4 years of notice that it was dropping OV.

You could buy FAST400 today, and Tiger Tools could be gone tomorrow and
you'd never know it.

So, let's say IBM is astute here and notifies Tiger Tools that FAST400
will be negated by V5R2.  Should Tiger Tools pass this notice on to its
customers?
