Solving one's problems by throwing additional processing power and
memory at them, instead of sitting there and optimizing the code?

I think there's probably someone in Redmond, Washington who'd love to
hire you. A fellow who specializes in making a fast Pentium 4 barely do
the work of a slow 8088. A fellow named Bill Gates.
