RPG X-ref on field level might be a bit outside the MI Programmers mailing
list, but I think that the software product PATHFINDER from HAWKEYE
Information Systems in Colorado is the world champion when it comes to doing
just what you are looking for. If HAWKEYE can code it, others can do it too,
but I am convinced that it would be cheaper to purchase PATHFINDER. So you
may want to check http://www.hawkinfo.com/

Subject: Fields that do not get updated

Hi all,

Can somebody point me to a method of determining (
from the object ) if a give file field is updated in
an RPG program ?

We are trying to build a support team query that would
answer the question :
What programs update a field X in file Y in library Z.

Thanks in advance,
Narayanan R Pillai
