Oh. Well, I'm sure that would have given you what you need. But since they did develop that for me, I guess they retain ownership of the code. And that's not really unusual, unless specified in the contract. I have no idea what the terms were in the letter of engagement (or whatever the document was called).

Sorry. But it was worth more than that to us - we ended up using that data for a LOT of things, including a real slick method of determining if components were obsolete, and/or what the cost of obsoleting parts would be. My Purchasing dept and Engineering dept found MANY uses for the data, especially after I defined it in Integrator and gave them viewing access (and the ability to change views and subsets).

Guide Technologies wants $5,000.00 for that program.

Thanks anyway,

Bob,

Did you contact Pete O. from Guide Technologies? He developed an excellent
solution for me at my prior job - tied out exactly as required, and the
output was accessible through Browser, or downloadable into Excel if
required. I'm sure he probably kept a copy of the program - I paid him to
develop it and he's more than welcome to share it.

I realize I have posted this request before, but I did not receive a
satisfactory response.

I am looking for a program that will do a BOM Explosion and produce results
that match MAPICS Inquiry AMEC72.

It needs to output to a file.

Someone did send me a program that will blow through the BOM, but the
quantities don't match the MAPICS Inquiry AMEC72.

Thanks!
