Well, what we do for this at FFT is a long time ago, I purchased the
OEGLI/MTHACT add-on ($500? Not sure anymore). The MTHACTX (invoice
header), MTHACTY (invoice line item detail), and MTHACTX (special charge
detail) files are all loaded at invoicing time. I use that data daily to
feed out sales force information databases, that we pump out to the
Regional Sales Managers using Lotus Notes databases (and Lotus Enterprise
Integrator). I have found that to be a VERY effective methodology. And
it's simple and relatively inexpensive.

And you don't need triggers.... which I don't particularly like (and let's
NOT get that thread started again!!! LOL!!! The LAST time was my fault
for asking!)

PM feed data warehouse

Can anyone tell me where is the best place in the process/system to
capture sales data that we will then feed into a data warehouse? Should I
capture the data when it hits OEITXN using the user exit or trigger? I am
sure others have done this already. I would appreciate it if someone could
point me in the right direction to using the best method to accomplish
this.

Thanks for any assistance.

Note: I am at release 7.7 of XA using IFM.
