One of my customers is using Vanguard's IMS/21. I have not heard any major complaints about it but they are not using any of the advanced applications (XA Browser applications - strictly green screen). I needed to write some integration programs but it was pretty simple code. They had most of the major integration already completed.

The scanning requires someone to process documents that neeed signatures captured (BOL's, Picklists,etc.) but any other documents are getting captured automatically (Invoices, Acknowledgements). Faxes also are getting scanned after they have been marked with the CO number that the fax was entered against.

The software can capture documents that get pushed through most forms generators (we use ICS/Formsprint) and I know that it can also interface with Elite - not sure about any others. I do not know their website name but they usually advertise in i-Series magazines.

Hello Group.
We are in the process of looking at Document Management systems.
Does anyone have a recommendation of one that ties into XA nicely.
We mainly want to be able to control the various pieces of paper in
electronic format
associated with Customer Orders , Purchasing, signing-off of routers,
etc.
The ones we look at so far do not and we want something that will
utilize our
investment into XA.
