We are installing CSM for the 1st time for release 7 and have been ran against some things that don't quite make sense. 1) We have orders that are showing in the historical order section, however, there are no shipments against the order. There are no records in MBDHREP, MBDDREP, and MBKGCPP. We are told any order that has a record in MBBWCPP will show up as a historical order. What would leave "orphan" records in MBBWCPP? Also, why would one want to review open NOT SHIPPED orders under historical orders and also under open orders? This same order does not show under historical orders in COM green screen, it shows in open orders. 2) User has the ability to change price source code, which we feel could be a potential SOX issue. Enter a brand new order and item is priced with "automatic" pricing. User has the ability to change the price source code from "automatic" to "override" or "copied from a quote" when in fact nothing was done to the price. Also, after the item has been entered, user must select the price source code box and select an override source code before changing the price. We are not too sure why this functionality differs from COM and why the user should have the ability to change the price source code. We were told by MAPICS not to lock down the field as potential problems could result. I would think any price changes that occur would automatically have the price source code updated by the program and not by the user. Is anyone else experiencing any of the above issues and how have you dealt with them? Thank you, Candy Hein
