Yes, I have done it using a user exit.  They come in handy and were designed
for stuff like this.  In this way I managed to add transport charges with a
calculation (fix below a specific order amount, % above) and discounts when
certain transport or delivery codes are used.

Our company wants to automatically added a handling charge to each order.
I had explored surcharges, but this is added to each line item on the order.
MAPICS said that the only way to accomplish was to have the customer service
rep manually add the handling charge, they suggested that I post a question
to the group.  I would think there would be a way to do this automatically.
Has anyone accomplished something similar to this?
