We had to do this.  What we did was automatically add a special charge line
to each order at the end-of-order user exit.   Worked fine, no problem.

Our company wants to automatically added a handling charge to each order.
I had explored surcharges, but this is added to each line item on the
order.  MAPICS said that the only way to accomplish was to have the
customer service rep manually add the handling charge, they suggested that
I post a question to the group.  I would think there would be a way to do
this automatically.  Has anyone accomplished something similar to this?
