Candy, Once again, we do the same thing, controlling faxing, e-mailing, or nothing for order acknowledgements. We controlled it off a field in the customer master file (user fields are great) and used the end-of-order user exit. If you can't tell, we do TONS there. The order acknowledgment selection would be protected (such as the pick list option) if the order is on hold. This allows the departments involved to review the order and release the hold before the order is acknowledged. Once all holds have been released then customer service want to be able to print the acknowledgment. Has anyone done something similar to this?
