Yeff, We are tailored to print the pick list in location seq. Problem is that once a item is added using a RS, RM or RP transaction the user must change the default location into an available stock location using PLM&C. I learned from Dale Walker that this new warehouse location (other then default) is registered in SLDATA. With our current software we have two options for planned issue (IP transaction): 1) std pick list Mapics with default loc sequence (SLDATA ignored) 2) PLM&C V6.5 planned issue. Two important limitations: A) not possible two select a list MO's two pick in one go B) sort sequence only by item number (no tailoring options found). Seems to me that PLM&C has limited WMS functionality. regards, Arno de Bliek adbliek@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Timesavers International B.V. But, using the IP menu (planned issue) from PLM&C ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anderson, Jeff (Hayssen)" <Jeff.Anderson@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "MAPICS ERP System Discussion" <mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, May 15, 2006 9:02 PM Subject: Re: [MAPICS-L] picklist location > If you are tailored to print the pick list by location, it will, but it > uses the default stock location for this, not necessarily the location > where the parts will be found.
