You can use MUI  to protect any field from any "5250 green screen".
  
Check this from the infor e:info
   
  Refer to the manual with the title 'Working with the 'MAPICS XA User 
Interface' (MUI) which will explain the full capability of the MUI functions.  
MUI has the function needed to provide the answer to the question being
asked such as PROTECTING or HIDING fields from some users.
