Hi Lloyd Use the IM offline load. This can be done directly from a CL without entering Mapics if you use the Item Master Offline Load API. At the last year end we used the IM offline load to create CS transactions for standard cost changes. I am not a work today but will be tomorrow and can forward you waht I have in the way of code. You can change nearly all fields through that function the only problem if formatting to the off-line file. I am more of a MS SQL developer than an RPG developer so I will usually use DTS to pump the date into the off-line file, this addresses the formatting issue rather well. You do need to watch your MAPICS version, There's a big difference whether you have EPDM or not and pre/post R6 (then the user costs came and all fields were renamed). I would think about a 10 line RPG pgm would do. But im curious, why you arent using sandard mapics costingf and rolls ? Just curious.
