Eric:

We have found that using INTRWU & looking for records with a status of "E"
works much quicker than using IMHIST/MBCOREP. We have a bunch of records
in IMHIST, so that is why we have found INTRWU to be quicker.

We have looked at missing SLQNTY records, not enough inventory in the
location, etc & nothing comes up as to why. We are tailored to not allow
negative & controlled warehouse.

I am still leaning towards corrupted data coming in, since the problem is
difficult to reproduce & inconsistent.

Re: [MAPICS-L] OFFSHIP not producing SA's - continued

Dale,
I have two of my customers using the Offship process and I think the only
difference is that the warehouse being shipped from are not a controlled
warehouses. I created a quick query on Ann's suggestion of linking
MBCOREP
and IMHIST and I did not have any missing records.

With controlled warehouses, is it possible that when the record is coming
in
that the Location exists but by the time it is being processed, the
location
is empty. I think I read somewhere that when a location has zero
quantity,
the SLQNTY record is deleted. Does you install/tailor allow for negative
quantities?

Just some more food for thought...

Eric
