Peter, The below is correct, sorry I assumed you had REP installed. If you check the field PRODL in SLDATA the it should be 0 for a stock location, and 1 for a line location. If you have not got REP installed then I would check this field and see if it is 0 in all cases. I guess you could change the value with DFU and then see if it is OK.... The message is telling you that the location in which quanties are being updated is a line location. That means a stocking location at a production line controlled by the Repetitive application. There is a flag available when a location is created that indicates if it is a stocking or a line location. But the line location choice should only be available if REP is installed and interfacing. If locations were created some other way (outside of MAPICS) or if there were a bug that permitted them to be created incorrectly, then MAPICS may think those locations belong to REP even if REP is not installed. If REP were installed, there would be such a function key. Without it, I'd suggest a call to the hotline to get help on how to correct it properly. Should be a simple switch on the SLDATA record.
