Hi,
I've done this before by using query to create the offline load files
for Item Master, BoM and Routing, then used the standard offline load to
populate the new environment. Make sure all the static files are created
first in the new environment, e.g. Item Class.
I found this safer as it went through the MAPICS edit checks, just in
case you have forgotten something....

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Copy Bill Of Materials

Hi Group,
We have the task of entering Bill of Materials from one environment to
another. Has anyone had to do this and is there an easy way of coping
over. One division will stop manufacturing the products and another
division will start the manufacting of the same products on the next
day.
We would appreciate any input and help.

Thanks,
