All of the above. Harbinger Turstedlink runs on the iSeries and we send
most of the common docs (incoming PO, PO ack, ASN, invoice, etc).

Jim,

Does Harbinger reside on the iseries? Do you send ASNs and invoices
via
EDI?

Sounds like us, we sell to a big box home improvement chain and during
the busy season process well over 100 orders per day with most of them
on a 48 hour turn around.

Although we have a piece of custom written software to do the pick
confirmation process which worked flawlessly at R5 but is giving us
problems at R7 and probably needs to be replaced.

For EDI we use Harbinger and some custom software to populate the COM
offline files.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone out there is doing high volume pick/pack/ship
using release 5. We have recently been told by a customer (W@@-Mart)
that we will need to ship directly to stores instead of to distribution
centers!
Obviously, the volume of orders and associated transactions will
increase tremendously - probably from one order per month to several
hundred per day!
On the bright side, we have a 72 hour window from order receipt to
product shipment before the order is cancelled. I'm sure we're not the
only manufacturer going through this and I hope to hear those success
stories.
Thanks in advance! Also, how is anyone in this situation handling the
EDI portion of the transactions? Any help or direction is greatly
appreciated.
