We have the EC app which talks to Trusted Link 400 <sometimes called EDI
400 - Harbinger - Premonos - etc>.   This is used primarily for out
going Invoices and PO acknowledgments.   For outgoing ASNs we have
several versions of a user written program which are feed by our
scanning system.   For incoming POs we have a user written program.    I
agree with another poster that the offline shipping mechanism is VERY
important to keep the transactions moving in a timely manner.   All of
our EDI software runs on the AS400 except one small script on a PC which
does FTP connections to our VAN then passes the data to the AS400.

First, I'm glad you like your 45-70!  Second, what EDI software are you
using and is it on the iseries or a PC or something else?
