Accounting does the closeouts. We maintain a detailed sequenced
checklist for all monthend closeout processes including bith MAPICS and
non-mapics. On the last business day of the month, we freeze
transaction activity and it takes about 45-60 minutes to do all of the
closing processes.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] MAPICS Month End Closeouts

Good Morning List,

We're reevaluating some responsibilities, and are wondering about
month-end closeouts. What department at your company is typically
responsible for performing MAPICS month end closeouts?
