Bob:

We do the 850's, but no requirement for 810's. We have a CL that goes &
does the FTP transfer of the files, converts them to physical files and
then runs a program to populate & run the offline-load.

If you would like to see the CL let me know & I can send it to you off
list.

Subject
Mapics and EDI

I have a requirement to do EDI for one of our environments. The inbound
files are on a website and I have to use FTP to download these files into
MAPICS. My plan is to reveive 850's and send 810's.
Can this be done? What options do I have? I know very little about EDI
and I can't understand how I can receive these files and rename them on
the 400 so I can extract the data I need to use offline load in COM. Any
comments will be appreciated.

Thanks,
